Contestant Agreements

National Pageant Delegate Agreement

In order to compete at the Miss Tourism USA National Pageant, National Pageant Delegates agree to the following:
  • Be in New York, New York the date of the pageant finals on September 5, 2015.
  • Bring suitable wardrobe to be used during the period of the contest, to include:
    • Competition Evening Gown for Interview 
    • Competition National/ Cultural Costume or Black Cocktail Dress
    • Competition Aerobic Wear / Swimsuit
    • Competition Evening Gown (must be floor length)
    • Competition Talent Costume (if entering talent)
    • Two Semi-Formal cocktail dress (for appearances)
    • Event Appearance Evening Gown (for appearances)
    • Casual clothes and Sportswear (Jeans, shorts, t-shirts, gym outfit, daily clothes)
    • Swimsuit (for personal use)
    • Suitable shoes and accessories for the above.
  • Conduct herself properly at all time during her stay at the Miss Tourism USA National Pageant.
  • To cooperate, obey and comply at all times with the rules and regulations of the National Organizer.
  • Attend all official functions at all times during the period of the competition and not to leave the hotel without permission from Official Chaperones or National Organizer.
  • Have no other private/public engagements outside of the official pageant activities for the duration of the pageant.
  • Allow National Organizer to use or take her photographs for purposes of publicity and promotions.
  • Appear on television, radio, film or print media for the publicity/promotion requirements at the request of the National Organizer.
  • Depart New York, New York as required after conclusion of the pageant weekend.  Any later departure must be cleared with the Organizer and will be at the delegate’s own expense.
  • Bring sufficient funds to cover incidental expenses such as excess baggage charges, telephone bills, room service and other personal expenses.

 

National Titleholder Agreement

 
National Titleholder agrees to the following:
  • Will be under contract with Miss Tourism USA National Pageant for the duration of their reign.
  • Shall not at any time thereafter commercially exploit her title in any way whatsoever and all her activities must be approved in writing by the national pageant.
  • Shall conduct herself with decorum during her reign and shall NOT commit any immoral, illegal or any act or behavior which, in the sole opinion of the Organizer could bring disrepute, ridicule or contempt to the title, the image and reputation.
  • Will not enter/participate as a candidate in any other beauty competition during her reign, without expressed written consent of the Miss Tourism USA National Pageant.
  • Will NOT, during her reign, sign or enter into any contract or agreement with individuals, organizations or companies and will not give any written or verbal product endorsements or be associated with any commercial organizations as it relates to her title without prior written consent of the National Organizer.
  • Agrees to travel, as requested, for official functions and be involved in shows, personal appearances, press conference and other events arranged by the National Organizer.  During such trips, she will be provided with free airfare, hotel accommodations and some meals.
  • Shall return to the Host City of the succeeding year’s Miss Tourism USA national competition to crown her successor.
 
In order to compete at the Miss Tourism International world final, Miss Tourism USA agrees to the following as a representative of Miss Tourism USA:
  • To arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam for the contest held from October 15, 2015 and the coronation world final will be held on October 31, 2015. Departure starts on November 2, 2015.
  • To conduct herself properly during the period from her arrivals in Vietnam to the time of her departure after the contest.
  • Willing to obey and comply at all times during the period of the pageant and to attend all functions as requested by The Organizer and shall not be excused from such non-attendance except prior written consent to The Organizer.
  • To allow and permit The Organizer the exclusive right to use all photographs of the contestant and also for promotion. In this event, photographs of the contestant are not returnable.
  • To travel with The Organizer’s promotion crew on fashion assignment, visits to charitable organizations and etc. with prior notice from The Organizer.
  • To appear on television, radio, fashion shows or any media for the purpose of publicity and promotion of the contest.
  • Not to accept any private engagement during the period of the contest.
  • To attend rehearsals promptly when requested by The Organizer.
  • To submit 4 photographs postcard size (2 facial & 2 full lengths) which are non-returnable, together with the official entry form. The Promoter reserves the right to reject application without photographs.
  • To be equipped with sufficient funds to cover incidental expenses such as baggage charges. (Please check with your respective airline the Maximum Weight Allowed)
  • In the event that she is a winner or runner-up, she is required to stay for a few additional days in the country where the pageant is held for the post pageant activities, such as personal appearances, modeling or commercial advertisement and the like as required.
  • The contestant will return to her last place of embarkment within two (2) days or the first available flight after the contest or as ticketed.
 
If selected as Miss Tourism International 2015 or Runner-Up:
  • She will be managed by The National Director/Sponsor as her Exclusive Manager under the supervision of The Organizer for a period of two (2) years from the date of the winning contest.
  • She should not, by any time thereafter commercially exploit her title in any way whatsoever except exclusively through and by sole agreement with The National Director/Sponsor or The Organizer.
  • To conduct herself during the reign as Miss Tourism International 2015 or runner-up for the period of one (1) year and not commit any act of immoral, illegal or other similar nature which in the opinion of The National Director/Sponsor or The Organizer may damage or bring disrepute to the title or The Pageant.
  • She will not enter any female competitions or similar contest for a period of eighteen months (18) calendar months following the awarding of Miss Tourism International 2015 title without the prior written consent of The National Director/Sponsor.
  • She shall appoint The National Director/Sponsor as her exclusive manager and agent for the period of 12 months at a fee equivalent to 20% of all monies obtained by her in the capacity as Miss Tourism International 2015 in respect of personal appearances, advertising, photographic projects whether commercial or otherwise which may undertake by the office.
